*****

A brilliant gift of a cookery course in Dunbrody by my fabulous sister-in-law Paula led to one of the best day's out I've had in ages.  Interesting and enjoyable in every way without a dull moment in a gorgeous location. We did our annual...

Heat Final (RTE)

*****

I had written off this series by the third episode but it still showed glimmers of quality. Luckily those glimmers shone through to beat off the bozos and tooth veneers. The final gave us the two best chefs who were clearly passionate and capable. ...

Heat Final (RTE)

*****

After starting with dodos and publicity whores, the final was a joy. Two great chefs with two great mentors. Ace!

Heat Ep 4 RTE

*****

Atrocious food reality TV. This episode in particular showed 2 contestants who had no ability, drive or will. Awful.

Guerrilla Gourmet, Series 1 Episode 3, RTE

*****

After a not so good start to this series, I enjoyed this episode as it was less gimmicky, more food and chef focussed.

Guerrilla Gourmet (Ep 02)

*****

After the first travesty of an episode I swore I'd never watch another but the lure of Denis Cotter in Bandon was too much. This is Gimmicky Garbage TV with a half decent programme buried somewhere far far underneath. In the first episode...
